HotPixelRemover is a program from Lightning Cube Software that eliminates the problem of hot pixels from your images taken with a digital camera. Hot pixels are those annoying bright dots that may appear in your photos in shaded or dark areas and are caused by problematic pixels in your camera's CCD sensor. It uses the dark frame technique to achieve accurate hot pixel detection and removal. Mantains a diverse set of dark frames to cater for different image capture settings, works in batch mode to process multiple images at the same time, and provides a rich set of analysis results by which you can determine how much your camera is afflicted by hot pixels.
