HorSteal is a quirky physics-based action game that places players in the hooves of a horse aspiring to become a master art thief. The game’s objective is to abandon a mundane farm life in favor of adventurous heists in renowned museums, culminating in the ultimate goal of stealing the Mona Lisa. The gameplay features a deliberately challenging control scheme, adding a layer of slapstick comedy to the experience as players navigate the clumsy movements of their equine character.

The core mechanics of HorSteal revolve around a complex manual movement system, allowing players to control each leg and the horse's neck independently. Between heists, players can practice skills such as forgery and hacking at their hideout to improve their abilities and avoid capture.
