Decorate your screen with holiday lights.

Holiday Lights helps you decorate your computer for the holidays. When installed, it will show a string of colorful lights around the outside of your screen and play background music, if you wish. You can choose from more than 40 different bulbs suitable for any season, including standard Christmas tree lights, chili peppers, stockings, holly, snowmen, happy faces, Valentine's Day hearts, Thanksgiving turkeys, and Halloween jack-o'-lanterns. You can add more bulbs and music if you wish (see screen shot).

Earlier versions added the ability to display the bulbs on top of all other windows. It also included an improved screensaver with background pictures, text messages, new animations, and the ability to save a collection of bulbs, music, and screensaver settings as a theme for later use. Version 5.2 adds an ""Old Glory"" bulb that looks like a flashing US flag.

I love the versatility and all the images, music, etc. that you can use for each Holiday-I think it's great and well worth the money. I've had it for a good 5 years and am very happy with it...

An innovative product, but it's only for a certain user. Home users using iMacs to get mail can use this to brighten things up. A power user, however, will probably want to steer away: It's that much less CPU time your Finder is getting... let alone games and the such. Depends on what you do with your computer; personally, I wouldn't touch it with a 10-foot pole.

It is NOT $20.00 a month as stated in some of the comments, it is a one time charge. And the music can be muted. Some people must not read directions, it is a wonderful program and fun to play around witn.

This is a great program to brighten up your computer desktop..No problem downloading or executing...highly recommend!!!
