  Pros

  Able to do most things you would want to do to a game server with relative ease. Gives much more functionality than most simple Rcon applications.

  Cons

  The application requires you to register on their website to receive full functionality. The online help files are skimpy at best. The application is unstable.

  Summary

  HLSW is much more than a simple window to your game. It has options on top of options; virtually any config that you might want to edit or change can be done with little fuss. Need to change your map? Find the one you want on the list and click it (although if HLSW doesn't have the path to the map correct, there is no way to tell it otherwise). Need to change a CVAR setting? Just click it and change it. HLSW gives you Rcon control and much, much more. On the other hand, if you can't figure out how something works, good luck making sense of the skimpy and poorly-written online help files. Speaking of online, the application requires the user to register on their website and add a code to your server name so it can identify you as the owner. Even with these and other minor blemishes, I would recommend this application to anyone who needs to do more than simply restart their server from time to time, except for the fact that it froze up three times in the two days that I used it. I don't know if it just doesn't like Windows 7 or if there is some other issue, but it was enough for me to uninstall it (which, by the way, you have to do through the Windows "Uninstall a program" feature).
