(h)iStoryboard for Mac

(h)iStoryboard is a lightweight utility designed for macOS that transforms the traditional text-based browsing history of Safari into a clean, visual format. This application is tailored for older Mac systems, providing users with a wall of miniature page previews that makes retracing browsing steps more intuitive. It is particularly beneficial for visual thinkers who prefer thumbnails over the traditional URL list, allowing for a quicker recognition of previously visited pages.

Instead of navigating through lengthy lists of web addresses, (h)iStoryboard presents a mosaic of resizable tiles representing each page. Users can easily double-click on any tile to reopen the corresponding page in Safari. The app features a translucent background and adjustable tile sizes, creating a light and unobtrusive interface that enhances user experience without clutter or ads, focusing solely on visual navigation.
