  For me, it is perfect and well made.

  Totally great. It actually acts like an accelerator. Now, my internet can load up to 3x faster than usual and download large files (200MB and above) in just seconds.

• 196MB Download in 7 seconds

  Pros

  I decided to download the 196MB Microsoft Expressions BETA software. My computer said it would take 12 hours. After 2 hours of download speeds averaging about 10kbs, I remembered I have HiBand. I opened Hiband and clicked the optimize button. HiBand made me restart the computer (annoying I thought) and start the download all over again. Well, this time, I was able to download the 196MB file in just 7 minutes! I installed HiBand a few weeks ago and thought it was just another bandwidth monitoring tool. I'm really glad I discovered the optimize feature.

  Maybe I'm just so blown away by the speed optimization that I can't think of any cons.

  Pros

  Realtime bandwidth usage including max upload and download rate. Easy to download, install, and run. A bunch of utilities (ping, traceroute, netstat, etc.) also included.

  Cons

  Seems built for someone very familiar with network monitoring. Had to search the install directory to find a "manual", which gives a cursory overview of every window. Didn't try "Internet Booster" because I'd like to know every setting that is changed
