Hey Buddy for Android

Hey Buddy is a productivity app for Android that enhances phone security through voice commands. Users can set a lock phrase that, when spoken, activates a lock screen over any open application. The app requires an unlock phrase and a backup passcode to ensure users can regain access without locking themselves out. It supports multiple languages for lock phrases, catering to a wide range of users. This unique feature allows for convenient and hands-free security, making it easier to secure devices on the go.

To utilize Hey Buddy, users need to enable voice lock and grant microphone access, allowing the app to listen for the designated phrases in the background. It operates by providing notifications while ensuring that traditional security methods, like PINs and fingerprints, remain in place. Although the app offers a trial period, continued use necessitates a subscription. Overall, Hey Buddy presents an innovative solution for mobile security through voice activation.
