  Pros

  When it works the system doesn't crash. Sorry but that's the only good thing about it.

  Cons

  Constant unexplained crashes. Bugs that have existed for three versions now and haven't been fixed. Frustrating setups and overly complicated.

  Summary

  Basically if you are looking for a job logging system for your helpdesk then look elsewhere. After working for years with this program I can honestly say it is the worst part of my job. The windows that display your job details constantly change size to the point you have to reset all windows... they even have that function in there to fix the problem. They don't bother to fix it, just give you an official work around. What a joke. Also new releases are ALWAYS bug ridden. The current version 9 had to be patched to get it working. Once working it had to be patched again as it ran extremely slowly. Setting the program up to use it a nightmare. If you are evaluating this software, try setting up the automatic job logging from email. There are better products out there, in my opinion this is one to be avoided.

  Summary

  I have been using HelpMaster Pro for the last few years and this is the best version by far. It has everything you need to run an IT helpdesk, a call centre or service desk. It is highly configurable so that you can implement your ITIL processes and the template features make this a very powerful helpdesk package. I've evaluated several larger CRM solutions, but HelpMaster Pro has everything they have + more at a much better price. Highly recommended.
