HelpBreeze HTML Help/JavaHelp Edition is a complete visual environment for creating Microsoft HTML Help (CHM) files as well as Sun JavaHelp files. HTML Help is Microsoft's online help system, and is the standard in Windows 98, Windows 2000, and Windows XP. JavaHelp is Sun's standard system for providing online help in Java applications. It offers a powerful WYSIWYG HTML editor integrated with drag-and-drop tools for creating the table of contents, index, and other elements of HTML Help systems. You can choose to use HelpBreeze's HTML Editor, or the product will integrate directly with the third-party editor of your choice (DreamWeaver, and FrontPage). You can preview, compile, and test your help files from within the authoring environment. It automatically generates the files required to link your HTML Help file to an application. It automatically generates printed documentation from your help project so you can create online help and manuals from the same source. Version 3.0e may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

cannot import existing project

This product is not worth your time if you already have an existing project. There are no import features for table of contents files, style sheets or project files, only topic files. The documentation is extrememly lacking, as what is given in the help manual does not exist in the product!!! Extrememly frustrating. Too bad, I really wanted to use some of the plug-ins!

Very difficult to use. After sampling several, This one was one of the more difficult ones. It may do a good job... but getting there is alot easier with other programs

Summary
The product seemed good initially and has the advantage that unlike others, it does not add the unregistered watermark. However, the program often crashed and resulted in erroneous help files, unable to be compiled by Help Workshop. In addition, many features are horrible, such as the Undo menu, and the GUI is primitive.
Don't waste your money!

Summary
It claims to do a lot of things but if something goes wrong you can't fix it without redoing what you have already done. Try contacting them and you will find they have no support team or FAQ section on Web Page. I'm sorry I shelled out the money for this product. I don't know how good RoboHelp is but I think I should have spent the extra $$ for it instead of HelpBreeze.
