This metronome utility doesn't have a boatload of customization options, but it's totally functional and quite fetching. Guitar-Online Tools Metronome's elegant, orange-tinted interface mimics the look of a digital metronome that you might buy in a music store, complete with a wheel for adjusting the tempo from 40 to 340 beats per minute. You can configure the program to 4/4 mode to emphasize the first beat of every measure, but the demo disables the more advanced time-signature settings. Also, don't expect to find a library of different sounds, as a simple beep is all the application can muster. We also wished for a visual display that indicated the tempo. If you don't need advanced features and place a lot of stock in good looks, Guitar-Online Tools Metronome is well worth testing and probably worth the small registration fee.
