With the Web browser wars back in full force, it takes a lot for an alternative browser to step to the front of the pack. Unfortunately, this download doesn't have what it takes. Its interface is decidedly clumsy, offering six tabs that work a bit like TV channel buttons. Users can't add new tabs or close the ones that exist. Nor did switching between tabs work well in our tests. When we clicked on a tab button, the browser often popped up a flickering balloon rather than displaying the correct Web page. On the plus side, the browser is easy on the machine, without even requiring installation. However, the buggy performance and awkward interface together keep us from recommending it to any but the most curious Web surfers.

Browse multiple Web sites, block pop-ups, and get a collection of links to sites around the Web.
A lighter version of the Guavaah Browser. Has a pop-up blocker which you simply turn on or off depending on which site you're on and whether or not you want new windows popping up as you surf. It comes with simple Help file pointing out the browser's features and various functions. The search window allows you to preview your searches before forwarding them to the main window or 'tabbed' windows for complete viewing. A convenient tabbed window features which allows you to save or forward and open different pages on the same window. You can also preview the saved pages. The tabs panel is free from the browser window and can be moved and positioned anywhere on your screen, the search window also can be moved this way. Has Open New Windows in Explorer button so you can view new windows using the Explorer browser. Version 1.5 includes modified User Interface for easier use and a new rollover function for tab buttons allowing you to preview web pages stored under each tab.
