• Misleading and not free - 7 Day Trial

  It did not catch many common grammar errors a real person would spot when checking (example - hear vs. here). I also found that it stated some of my sentences were fragments that were not. Also, this is a subscription service that starts with a free trial. You receive an email with an end date but DO NOT go by that end date. I made this error and was then charged for a month of service though I cancelled prior to the date the email gave me. I even received an email from the company stating the service was ended but a minute later found my credit card charged. Their response has not been helpful even though I have provided screen shots of when the cancellation took place as well as a copy of the email stating my service ended prior to my being billed

  Summary

  The grammar aspect has some good points but it is not worth the monthly amount. The site finds too many errors that are not in fact errors. The fee of $30 a month if you use the site monthly is excessive in my opinion. And if a free trial seems too good to be true, it is. I was provided with an email that stated a clear end date but even though I canceled before that date, I was charged. If you decide to use the free trial, be sure YOU are calculating how much time you have left and do NOT go by the time they give you. I do not know if they are intentionally trying to dupe their potential customers, but the service I received versus the aggravation I am now having to deal with is certainly not worth this cost.

  Pros

  It might work well, but it is misleading in regards to being free. It is free for 7 days.

  Cons

  They force you to provide your name and email address at their website so that you could use the program for 7 days. They ask you to sign up with a credit car for an expensive monthly plan that you can cancel after the 7 days. I do not know if they will charge you if you forget to cancel the plan. People is looking for a software program to download, not for a monthly service plan that never expires.
