This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />It is way too limited for $20. It does have some nice backgrounds, but these could look a little better on my 1900x1200 monitor. The fish look nice, but only a few different kinds of goldfish for $20?! You can get a lot more kinds for fish from Marine Aquarium (but wait if you have a high-res monitor).

Also, it doesn't seem like I can change any preferences, which makes it hard for me to want to pay for this program. You need to let us have more access to it's features in order to see what it's all about. I don't want to sit here for hours watching as this thing cycles thru all the settings until it gets to what I want to see.... Can't you just give us full access until this thing gets out of beta stage!?<br><br> And finally, the reason I made the effort to come post about this thing: The Installer. I see no reason why this needs an installer. I don't trust installers, they mess up permissions which often RUIN the way I have my folders organized, and I like to know exactly what is going where. Please don't use installers. Next, why does the installer set the owner to "System" for both the app, and the screen saver!? And, why does it installer the screen saver to the "all-users" library, instead of the user's library!?<br><br> That really needs to be fixed, because the way it is know is highly annoying and not very professional. For as much as you charge for these screen savers, I shouldn't have to go cleaning up after the installer every time an update comes out.<br><br> Thanks!

The bubble sounds don't loop smoothly. That needs to be fixed before I would consider buying it. Also, I'm still a little mad at this company for not adding new features to Marine Aquarium, which I bought right after it came out. Instead they create a new aquarium saver and ask people to buy anew all over again. Seems a little money hungry if you ask me.

This is really beautiful, and while not *yet* quite up to the pristine clarity and smoothness of Marine Aquarium, which I also own, I really like this program. Having owned goldfish, I like how lifelike and "gold-fishy" the fish movements are. It often makes me smile, reminding me of how my goldfish would come to the front of the tank and beg for food. A captivating piece of software! Steve
Remember this is still in Beta.

Would like to see a snail or two (maybe going on the glass like the starfish on Marine Aquarium). Your able to control the lighting and other stuff for each tank. Only five fish in the tank at a time right now , but I imagine there will be more after beta.
