GlowCode detects memory and resource leaks, finds performance bottlenecks, traces program execution, and finds unexecuted code. GlowCode is a complete performance toolset for Windows programmers, and diagnoses all Win32 EXEs and DLLs developed with .NET languages including Visual Studio 2010 and prior versions. Using GlowCode does not involve any source code or build changes, or tedious, post-build pass. GlowCode provides metrics on the runtime heap and additional resources, as well as a real-time summary of allocations, and an expandable tree view of allocation details including the call stack active during each allocation.

Fast, unobtrusive, easy to use, does what it claims

This program is less than 3MB. Installs in a minute, and does exactly what it says it will do.
Cons
I found the user-interface a bit awkward for ending tests and then viewing the results. Maybe I'm just not doing things the best way. Also, it doesn't separate time running from time waiting in functions that block very well.
Summary
This is so fast and easy to use (except for the one clunkiness issue I mentioned above) that people may actually *use* it even when they don't actually have a problem. That will result in code that's smoother and more robust, and that's a good thing. This is the best profiler I have ever used.

Pros
Thanks to the profiling features (Number of function visits, Average visit time, ...) that GlowCode offers along with its ability to profile individual lines of code I was able to find and repair serious bottlenecks in our software.
Cons
Minor annoyance, some of the windows created by GlowCode are set to "Always on top" which is an inconvenience.

This is the software I searched for - gprof for Linux or prep, profile, plist for Windows is complicated and worked not the way I wanted. GlowCode is easy to use and show me what I was searching for: performance bottleneck and memory leaks!
