Editors’ Review

GEX Trilogy revives the wisecracking gecko's adventures for a new generation. This collection includes the original 2D game and its two 3D sequels. Expect plenty of platforming, pop culture parodies, and Dana Gould's spot-on voice work.

  • Pros

    • Humorous parody and creative level design still hold up | Visual updates and smoother controls are welcome | Dana Gould's voice acting is genuinely funny | PAL versions with regional voiceovers are a great addition

  • Cons

    • Gameplay can feel dated for modern gamers | Save files don't transfer between NTSC and PAL versions | Camera controls still show their age
