Available exclusively on the Mac App Store. GamePad Companion 3.0 is a utility that makes it easy to configure your GamePads (controllers, joysticks, etc..) to play your favorite OSX games. You can configure your controller to work as your mouse cursor and buttons, or to map to any key on your keyboard, and you can save your layouts for the next time you want to play your favorite game!

It works (sometimes) but never on startup or after the computer goes to sleep. To get it to work, you have go into system preferences and turn it off and back on again. then it will work - but only for a while! Even when it does work, the sensitivity is very poor and not possible to adjust if (like me) you use it for Safari as back and forward buttons. I wrote to the makers of this some time ago making these points and have had no reply, so the support is poor as well, which doesn't make me think that there's much chance of it improving.

It allows the use of all the buttons. Now if they could just add a switch for the mouse so it doesn't run the batteries down while in my backpack... :)
