  Non of the options can be changed. Says 30 day demo but you can't actually test anything because you cannot change any settings.

  What i was looking for was something to use to fit big movies for vcd recording with nero. I spent a weekend trying other programs. this one works, the others did not. i will buy this product. my computer was made in 2000 has an 800mhgz cpu. 256. mem. you need a big hard drive to try this demo as files are large when split. my hard drive is 120 gigs. with some 30 gigs used. bugs.. there are some such as the large files.. also nero wont pick up pick up recording after 14 minutes of split files. I used the batch into equal parts feature which has a default of ten parts. then click add and start batch. I just did this with a two hour movie put on to two vcd's it does take a long time to split and also to record with nero. I let it run while i slept You cant even notice the splits on play back. also the fast foward 32x works that didnt with other files I have burned with out splitting. I am not familiar with video editors. so i used small files at first.And moved the target folder to my documents to get the hang of this program. this can be used for movies up to 2 hours 20 minutes to keep the 14 minutes rule with ten batch files. also if you use the shreadder feature thats in spybot search and destroy, the large gigabyte files delete in seconds. when my 30 day demo runs out I will buy this and if i see anything such as bugs fixed i will write again.

• Useless for common MPEG codecs

  After taking a lot of time to analyze my source files, comes up with a message saying it can't work with the files. This was the result with Mpeg output from my Dazzle DVC 150 encoder and also output from a TMPGenc encoder. Ironically, in both cases, the files play flawless from this stupid program's own PLAY button (which actually calls up Windows Media Player). They should package this product with some sample files that DO work to prove it's not just a hoax.

  I needed something to convert quicktime to avi. This doesn't do it. Lies. Plus it takes along time to install and it's not very user friendly. The Meg-chan gives it a 1 out of 5.

  It split 400MB out of a 770MB into a 9GB file. The splitting process was completed by 1/3 only. The most rubbish software that I have seen.

  After several attempts at splitting mpegs/avi, I have experienced problems with the end product every time. Using this program has caused distortion in sounds and in many cases sound is not matched with the pictures! It uses up more system resources than similar programs and creates unpredictably large files. In one instance where i split a movie into halfs (originally 750mb for the entire movie). The first half was a massive 37.9GB!, which not only took up half my hard drive but took ages to delete too! Image quality is ok, the interface looks dated and unprofessional, and it is relatively easy to use. However the instability of this program makes it a definite no d/l.
