  It is free. Easy to install and use.

  Cons

  This latest "free" version has been severely throttled and is very slow to convert. Only if you subscribe will the download/converting be fast. Early versions of this software are not throttled so downloading and converting is very fast. If you can get an early version of this software then please share it.

  Summary

  Pass on this software. There are much better and faster freeware out there. I get why they want you to subscribe but this latest version will take a very long time to do something that can be done in seconds on the old version. Like I said before, find an early version of this software and install it and ignore the "Update" pop ups. You won't be disappointed.

  The free version is unusually slow, and you must pay for the premium content to download at a faster speed.

  Summary

  Be warned. If you install this, the free version throttles your download speed to where it takes forever to download an mp3...while promising "upgrade to premium to download the same content in 15 seconds". I'm supposed to trust that. Yeah. Right. I would rather have a limited time to try a fully functional version. I don't mind paying for something that works, but prove to me it works, first. Don't feed me a free turd on on a toothpick and tell me you have steak behind the curtain.

• Used to be great, now it SUCKS!

  Pros

  Currently, none. I've been using this app for a while and it was amazing. But not anymore. Please see cons. Here's what it USED to do: Download fast from Youtube link. Download a full playlist very quickly off Youtube.

  Cons

  Since the most recent update, the app is horrible. It takes several minutes just to download one song from Youtube. I can no longer download a playlist unless I pay $30 for the upgrade, which I would never do. If it was $10, maybe. I'm hoping I can find an alternative because I really liked the convenience of the app. But I'll just get the music some other way if they're going to continue to stink up their app. The app isn't anywhere worth $30. All it does is take music off Youtube and convert it to mp3 format. I'm not a programmer, but I'm guessing a good one could reproduce this with little effort.

  Don't get this app. It's horrible.

• No integrity from the developers

  Pros

  It used to be great. It used to do what it said: download YouTube audio fast and free. Not anymore.

  Cons

  I hadn't updated this piece of software for the past few months, since I don't use it much. I just got around to it today. That's when I found out that they've purposely throttled back download speeds in order to encourage buying their premium version. A download that used to take 30s now takes 16 minutes.

  Summary

  I have no respect for such underhanded methods. Their advertisement of the software as "free" and "fast" are both falsehoods that no longer represent the whole truth. I might have considered supporting the software and company for increased functionality, but certainly will not for the return to the previous functionality. This company has lost my support. I am uninstalling the software, and will never consider supporting it again. Similar tools can be found elsewhere, without the underhandedness.

  I can recall that YouTube changed some stuff a couple of years ago that made the downloads impossible. For other software that is. You guys never had that problem. Loyal user for 3+ years now.

  The youtube to mp3 dosent work, which was the only reason I downloaded the studio. There is a lot of adds. always click custom install to uncheck the stuff you dont want on your computer.

  Pros

  User friendly, and even embeds app button to browser and youtube page for one click download / convert. Does what it says on the box.

  Cons

  The add ons, easy to install malware if you are not paying attention to the little boxes when loading it. Constant updates it seems andd has actually gotten worse since the first versions due to the extras it tries to have you install.

  Summary

  This program had some serious potential and was excellent when it fiorst came out. Sadly advertising and sponsors seem to have jumped all over it resulting in some damaging programs coming with the actual original, and seemingly has updates every day of the week ^^ which do not make it better but quite the reverse. Wish I could go back to the very first version of this. It was magnificent in its simplicity and operation.

  Summary

  This company called DVD Video Soft must be a very dodgy outfit to start with. Many users of this programme reported about the program 'secretly' installing malware and adware to users computers. However the company keeps repeating the same line: 'Anyway, you always have an option to opt out all unwanted programs during the installation'. But every user clearly mentioned that in spite of opting out from all the unwanted programmes the company still went ahead and 'secretly' installed the unwanted adwares and malwares. Such action is very unethical. Rather than promoting your company it sounds the death knell because such outfits soon loose respect. I find it difficult to understand why anyone should think that they would secure any benefit from annoying others -which is what every unwanted programmes does. If you want to take ads from partners, you display such ads on your webpage, not packaged it with software to cause annoyance to others especially as reality shows that majority of the targets simply don't want the ads.

  Many useful features. Can download the complete playlist. It's easy to adjust the settings to download exactly what I needs.
