Summary
With 120M that Google paid for On2 VP8 codec they couldn't release also an encoder to the public? And that's how they count on the codec to spread? LOL! Ok back to using H264 and flv... screw this garbage.
Its Not Free
JPReviews
Pros
Never got that far as it was not truly a free program.
Cons
It says its Free but only because it encodes 1/2 of your project. You have to purchase to make it work.

The first and only WebM converter that works for me!
ryan713105
Pros
This program successfully converted a 255MB mobile .mov video to WebM in 9 minutes. The resulting .webm video is only 16MB, making this program ideal for slow internet connections.
Cons
While the resulting .webm video has the same frame rate and resolution as the original mobile .mov video, the quality was obviously poorer. The video was more grainy, and audio glitches were more pronounced.
Summary
This program is the first and only WebM converter that works on my computer (Windows 7 with AMD dual 2.2gHz processors). Miro can convert my videos to Theora format, but not WebM. If you have a slow internet connection and you are willing to sacrifice quality, this an ideal program for sharing your videos in WebM format. For me, however, the low-quality video output outweighs any other benefits of this program. I will uninstall this (version 1.2), but I'll definitely try the next release.
Incredibly slow conversion

Cons
The program is free.
Summary
It has to be said that I wrote this review even before I had the chance to see the end result, but I simply would waste an entire afternoon of computer capacity just to convert a 175 mb MP4 file. I also tried with a 250 mb WMV file. But after 1 hour of conversion (no other processes running), the progress bar was (in both cases) only at 10%...
