Free Picture Resizer lets you perform basic image editing, such as resizing, rotating, and flipping a photo as well as applying filters and other color corrections. The software comes free of charge and also features batch file processing and an intuitive but uninspired interface.

Pros

Filters and image adjustments: In addition to rotating images, Free Picture Resizer can also apply a handful of filters as well as allow you to set custom contrast, hue, saturation, and luminance levels. Of all the filters, we were most impressed with the one that blurs photos.

Batch manipulations: The app's most advanced feature, the batch converter, allows you to perform actions like renaming and resizing photos, changing the image format, setting rotation, modifying the color gamut, and adding filters. In order to make the process less complex, a four-step wizard is used to set up each batch conversion.

Fast: In our tests, the app was always snappy and responsive. It also performed well while testing the batch converter, as it took only 15 seconds to rename, resize, rotate, and blur 11 photos.

Cons

Uninspired interface: Despite being functional and intuitive, the software's interface looks dated and uninspired. The toolbars reminded us of Microsoft Office 2003, which is not a good thing in a product aimed at creative people.

Free Picture Resizer is great for making small adjustments to individual photos or groups of them. If you're looking for an advanced image editing app for complex photo manipulations or an Instagram-like software with dozens of filters, you will be better served by an alternative product.

Cons
Install doesn't work. Stops at "error connecting to internet" even though my internet connection is fine. OK keeps bringing up the same message, CANCEL cancels the entire install.

With the Free Picture Resizer, there are many options available to make the images better. From color to rotation and applying filters, there are several parameters which can be modified. It is absolutely free of cost and allows batch conversions as well.

downloaded this and it added some new sort of istart crap on my browsers and it installed opera without giving me the option to opt out . dont download not worth the headache of trying to get rid of it all .. i had to use adwcleaner to help me out .

i dont understand if download.com knows of the problem seeing they gave a good review. program may be good , but like i said all i went through to just to get to use the app it wasnt worth it ,, it be nice if download.com took note and fix the problem . i been comming here for years always recommended this websit to my friends and familiy thinking its a safe site .. need to be aware when installing a app if it doesnt install as normal as others and loops u around to download other than normal dump it before its to late...

Don't know. I deleted it as quickly as possible once it started adding extra programs and my anti-virus software was issuing warnings every 30 seconds ...

Even if you clicked Decline when asked if you want to install extra 'great programs', it still installs 4 other programs. One seemed to hijack Chrome? Then my anti-virus software kept popping up saying a new virus had been detected. It kept doing that every 30 seconds until I uninstalled the software.
