Coincidentally, I installed this at the same time as I was performing a system update. I spent an hour cleaning up the mess afterward. Nobody knows how, but on reboot, I ended with a blank screen. I spend the night tracking down a system boot disk, resetting the motherboard CMOS (manually) and restoring my system back to the point before the installation of this software. If I didn't know any better I would have formatted my hard drive or replaced my system. This should be illegal!

None - doesn't install without crapware.
Cons
This program (either the Cnet Installer or the Direct Download) contains crapware galore. I declined installing any additional files, and then it boots you out of the MP4-to-MOV installer. On top of that, it still changed my browser homepage, search engine and new tab page. ARGH!

all the reviews must have been fake. After download it will take you half hour to delete and uninstall all the addon programs and malware. I am sure i probable have a virus from this trash...the converter doesnt even convert... all lies

My computer didn't implode (nor explode).

AT LEAST 10 adware to authorize or decline (with some hidden in the express/custom install window). Despite very carefully declining every single one, it installed Conduit Search Protect on my PC without my authorization. As if this wasn't enough, the program crashed the second I started its first conversion attempt. Before throwing the fault on Windows', the video file's or my computer's laps, just know that the next program I tried did the job right away. No complaint about a corrupted file or anything. Select. Click. Convert. Voila. Everything this lowly quick cash-grab attempt couldn't do.

I understand that free software publishers may need to rely on third-party adware to make a living and I expect to see a few offers pop up when I install a freeware, but that it just ludicrous. And if only it worked. Yeah, maybe I could get it to work if I bothered dealing with their "customer" support, but after such a low blow, I just don't care. Just go with something else. Don't touch that thing with a 10-foot pole. There are better alternatives from honest developers anyway.
