  Program didn't convert the file, just showed it as "queued" for an indefinite amount of time. Also installed the annoying browser add-on "Discovery App" that kept redirecting my browser to a dating website.

  I entered 5 MOV files hit covert and nothing happened after awhile I closed the app and figured I would try a different converter I did not realize that it MOVED not copied my files when I closed the app all files were lost

  Downloaded three programs I didn't want (360 total security, PCKeeper and a customer survey app), installed an extension on Chrome, and failed to download the program I wanted. It also tried to shut down my windows defender.

  Summary

  Do not download. Not worth the trouble it caused seeing as I never got the software I wanted.

  Some say it converts but it did absolutely nothing for me.

  It installed other software despite my declining that contained malware. Unfortunately, now I can't do anything with my browser because it's blocked from running all extensions and downloading them. I'm pretty sure it's doing plenty more. I'm very disappointed with cnet, I thought this site was safe. I'll never download from here again. All these years downloading from this site and never a problem. I'll never trust this site again.

  Great at installing other software, even bypassing your permissions when you first click the .msi

  Does nothing it claims!

  Whoever gave good reviews must be an advertiser on the installer, the software simply does not convert. like another reviewer I tried to convert my mov files to mp4. the program acted like it converted it, even made a nice little folder on my computer titled converted files. I opened the folder to find my "converted files" were just copies of the original .mov. Thank you CNET for your high standards!
