Used Free MKV to MP4 Converter for Windows?
Editors’ Review
Free MKV to MP4 Converter produces high-quality videos with its small but sturdy application. The design and layout of this application is excellent, but there is an obvious lack of features that detracts from your experience.
Pros
Intuitive design: Using this program is easy due to the large buttons that guide you to precisely where you need to be. We were surprised that Free MKV to MP4 Converter doesn't feature any advertisements on the application, which is not common for free software.
Awesome conversion: We converted an assortment of MKV files with no hang-ups and no watermarks. Most converted files retained video and audio quality and were produced within ten to 60 seconds.
Cons
Lack of features: The downside of Free MKV to MP4 Converter is that it only converts MKV to MP4. This deficiency will force you to install additional software for conversions that are of other formats.
No support: While an information icon is featured in the program window, and it does take you to MVK to MP4's Web site, there are no support options available. An email form was the only option on the site, which we find to be quite unsatisfying.
Bottom Line
Free MKV to MP4 is a limited but powerful application. You will find it easy to use but may become unhappy with the lack of other conversion options. Programs like Any Video Converter give you access to a variety of video formats, and we hope to see Free MKV to MP4 Converter provide this option in the future. Although Free MKV to MP4 accomplishes its goal, we suggest downloading a video converter with a larger menu of supported formats.
