  I'm looking for a program that can help me import M2TS files to Sony Vegas for editing. This free software assist me convert M2TS to some popular video formats like MP4 and MOV while I can edit it and playback it on my Galaxy S5.

  None, since I use this freeware.

  Pros

  Seen from the comments below, I guess the program gets a malicious competitor. I heard of the product from my friend, he tried it then told me to have it too. After all, you know, it's for free. As free software, it has basically done what it says. In one word, it helps and worth to try.

  As M2TS converter, it does what it says. Though there is a plug-in program, it is without virus and we can decide to uninstall it or not according to our need. Anyway, i helps me a lot.
