Free FLV to MP3 Converter's name only tells part of the story since it also converts Flash files into AVI files, and it even converts FLVs into MP4 videos that can play on a wide variety of video devices.

We've mentioned that Free FLV to MP3 Converter is freeware, but as anyone who likes freeware as much as we do is aware, someone pays the bills, and that means optional downloads, which you can decline since they're not needed to run the program. refuses to convert any flv file to avi, mp4 or mp3. Opens as administrator account so I have to go digging to find my "my documents" folder. Then kicks up error stating it can't find the temp file it wants to create to do the conversion on. Tried running as administrator as well still no joy.

Would not output to original folder so I created & chose a new sub-folder via the tool. After it completed conversion I was given a error that it couldn't find the folder it just created so I created a new folder again to which it successfully converted and output to. Attempted a second conversion - it couldn't find the folder it just output the first file to, nor could I locate the folder when using the chose folder option. Even restarting the program did not help. Sound quality was fine, too many hassles though: uninstalled

This came with about 10 different spam wares. It took an hour to get rid of them all and I'm not sure I actually did.

Note that the user names of the "reviewers" come in batches of similar variety. 'name+number' for a while... then 'first name+last name' for a while. All feature the same awkward use of the language... The same overly formal adjectives... None of them look genuine. I know nothing about this program, except that someone involved felt they needed to game the review system. Don't trust it.
