  NONE. There is no duplicate photo finder program.

  All it does is reset your browser, and add stupid Yahoo garbage search providers to it, and install a small search provider extension reinstaller in your programs, so that it comes back every time you think you are removing it....

  Program installs System Healer, a dummy program whose only purpose is to get you to cough up money. My anti-virus program blocked the rest of the malware.

  Pros

  It was interesting that of the photos it did search it found a number of near matches. I liked the % match.

  Ultimately it was useless to me as it didn't examine all the photos and didn't find anny of the duplicates.

  Will permanently delete your childhood memories. Causes you to spend hours trying to recover cherished family photos. Will make you question what sort of evil invented this program.

  Summary

  After years of dumping photos on a flash drive from multiple computers, I decided to use this program to delete duplicates. I opened up the program and marked the "delete to recycling folder" option to make sure that if something goes wrong I can always recover. The program was easy to use. It took less than a minute to scan a 16 G flash drive of photos. Then it showed all the duplicate pairs found on the flash drive (rated by percent similarity), along with the file names. Each duplicate pair is shown side by side prior to deletion. Well it appeared to find a lot of duplicates on my flash drive, so I went to town deleting one after another. About 10 minutes in, I realized something seemed off. Each couple had the exact same file name. A couple checks resulted in me realizing that it was treating each photo as its own duplicate. IT WAS DELETING ORIGINAL PHOTOS WITH NO DUPLICATES. My irritation quickly turned to horror when I realized that it had definitely NOT sent anything to my recycling folder, resulting in the permanent deletion of dozens of original photos. I can not tell why this program treated each original photo as its own duplicate or why it failed to send my deleted photos to the recycling bin. I can only tell you that even after hours of trying to recover the photos every which way, I was left with a photo collection that was missing dozens of family photos that I will never be able to get back. The company has no phone number, but I sent them an email explaining my issue and included a screenshot of the single photos being treated as duplicates. This was two weeks ago and I have not heard back. It's clear that this program was made to get a bunch of spammy add-on programs onto your computer. The company clearly does not care about quality or customer service. AVOID.

  Pros

  It is free and it did find a few duplicates.

  Cons

  It installed several other programs that took me an hour of uninstalling and fixing my system keys and some default settings. It didn't find several duplicate photos (same file name, size, date and picture) that were in separate sub-folders.

  Does find duplicated photos. But it seems the search is only done by same filesize, filename and date.

  Does not check the photo for image content.
