fqrouter2 is a specialized Android application designed to repeat WiFi connections while routing traffic through various proxy protocols. It caters specifically to advanced users who have rooted devices, allowing them to share an uncensored internet connection with other devices. The app integrates one-click proxy selection with WiFi repeater functionality, targeting those in regions with strict censorship. Its support for multiple proxy types, including SSH and Shadowsocks, enables users to navigate complex network conditions effectively.
Despite its innovative features, fqrouter2 is considered a legacy tool, as it is no longer maintained and optimized primarily for older Android versions. The application requires superuser privileges for its advanced functionalities, making it suitable for technically adept users familiar with rooting and custom ROMs. While it serves as a historical reference for mobile networking, its operational viability is limited due to obsolete proxy methods and the lack of ongoing updates.
