Form Docs provides a wealth of business forms and documents that are perfect for small businesses. In addition, its design elements ensure that it can create a document for any need.

The program's interface is incredibly simple to operate, thanks to its excellent tutorials. An intuitive layout simplifies navigation between different documents, which helps ensure each document is filled out properly. Form Docs offers an impressive collection of document templates, including human resources hiring forms, project quotes, tax forms, purchase orders, and easily a dozen more, all fully customizable and with clearly labeled fields. Its simple operation leaves you with a professional-looking document that is ready for business. Form Docs' greatest assets are probably its automatic serial number generator and its ability to store up to 1 million company profiles for easy filling of forms. This is a great tool for small businesses because it handles all aspect of your business itself. Form Docs' design tools will also have particular appeal to entrepreneurs and start-ups because the program can build virtually any form from scratch to exactly meet all your changing and growing document needs.

Form Docs has a 30-day trial period. It installs desktop icons without asking permission and leaves folders behind after uninstalling. This is an impressive program that makes dealing with business documents a lot less daunting, and we recommend it.

Okay but not great

Pros
Easy to install. Does some basic things very well.
Cons
Conversion of paper or scanned to electronic is weak and usually not workable. The support is worth about what it costs, which in this case is nothing.
Summary
Great Software...Easy to use and program
iwd12209April 9, 2013
Pros
I've been using FormDocs Premium Edition for almost two years now and it's really great. I recommend it to all of my clients and so far, those that use it, love it. Easy to link to my spreadsheet workbook and auto fill multiple fields with one click. Sort and/or search batches by any field.
Cons
The license! This one is ridiculous. You can install on one primary computer (work) and one additional(home), great! Installs are web recorded so if your computer crashes or you purchase a new one, you must uninstall from the old one to free 1 registered install. If anything goes wrong during the uninstall, you lose 1 registration and you can't do anything about it. You MUST successfully uninstall before doing a restore. They say it doesn't matter if your computer crashes or you do a system restore using the OEM restore disk or even install a new hard drive, their web registration process will know it's your computer and will release 1 registered install, WRONG! it doesn't always work. Tech support won't talk to you and won't respond to e-mails, they say you just lose it, period! They think their uninstall method is infallible, I beg to differ. Hope your machine doesn't burn in a fire, you gotta uninstall before it's destroyed or YOU LOSE YOUR LICENSE!
Summary
Much Better than using Word forms
truckdudFebruary 6, 2009
Pros
Formdocs blows away Word for making forms. (in previous I was thinking of some other program). Easy to create exactly what I want then just type and tab without breaking up the form as I go.
Cons
wish it cost $100 instead of $139.95
Summary
i've tried every program under the sun for making forms and Formdocs is the best I have found. It's fast, reliable, never crashes or hangs even with a form having 100 pages. I've completely stopped using Word since Formdocs does it so much better.
Uses Word 07 forms

Great Program - Easy to Use - DOES Work on Vista
buildrbobMarch 12, 2008
Pros
Downloaded this to do contractor proposals. One of the few programs I've tried that DOES work fine on Vista. It is really easy to use and well thought out. Saves me lots of time compared to the way I used to do proposals. Also, I love that I can search through my old proposals that I have already sent out.
Cons
none yet. there are a lot of other features I have not tried yet...
Summary
Very very weak. Not Vista compatible

Pros
I bought a previous version of Formdocs and liked it alot. This latest version adds some features that I never would have thought of but now I find them indispensible. For example I can attach an unlimited number of photos (or any other type of file) to my forms. I can even e-mail everything out as PDF to a client with one click. Really amazing. I've tried them all and I still think Formdocs is THE way to go if you need any kind of form design or form filling software. It just gets better.
Cons
my only complaint is that I would like to see a larger font used in the tutorial, would be easier to read for nearsighted folks like me.
Summary
Excellent deal plus easy to use

Pros
I compared Formdocs to Adobe Acrobat. Formdocs is in my opinion far easier to use to design and fill in a form. Plus Formdocs ($140) costs so much less than Adobe Acrobat ($500). Great deal.
Cons
Summary
Excellent inexpensive forms program

I also tried several trial versions of other form programs. Formdocs allowed me to create individualized forms at a fraction of the cost of more expensive programs.
