This is a simple program that enables you to view any fonts quickly and easily. You can view installed fonts or fonts installed in a directory. Only .ttf files are supported as of v1.0. This is a Java program and will work on any operating system with Java installed. The file is distributed as an executable JAR which is usually run by simply double clicking the file.

Pros
If it has any plus it is multi-platform written in Java, great for those anti-Windows zealots out there.
Cons
The fact that it is written in Java as a stand alone application. I have ran Java based apps in the past and find that they generally are slow in performance. They do not intermesh with the Windows OS and never have that nice smoothe user interface you are acustomed to in software. My download is already deleted as I quickly found out I had to take the trouble to go and find the Java engine to install before I could make this work. Sorry too much trouble and should be included with the setup. After a little bit of web searching I found this Freeware Font Viewer "AMP Font Viewer" it is really sweet if you need a nice utility to view, test and manage your installed fonts.

Pros
Stable and does what it says on the tin!
Cons
The program itself is not very pretty. Worse still the fonts appear grainy. It doesn't display them at their best.
