Pros
Nice design! Our clients just love the look of our magazine. Prompt and helpful support. We had a few questions before purchase and a small installation problem after having bought the software. The team answered swiftly and solved the problem in half an hour!
Cons
There's no Mac of web version yet. We've preferred to have the software on Mac. If you have created a project in a trial version, it doesn't get saved and you need to start from scratch in the paid software.
Summary
The key points when looking for a software for our monthly magazine were easy editing options and a good-looking mobile version. FlippingBook fits both.

Pros
well looking publications, with different standard designs. Easy to work with.
Cons
very expensive on the long run. Developer is Russian based company very stiff when it comes to any discounts. You will be always pushed to renew at 1/2 price of the software. Otherwise you software will not run or have some bugs like a annoying flash upgrade message. Which I think its more a version bug then a update problem.
Summary
If it would be not so expensive and the company would provide some discounts for existing clients then I would recommend it. I see everywhere 40% as Ads but as soon I write them its only for new clients.. I would compare some other developers maybe US based easier to get discounts :)

Relatively easy to use and update pages. Can be cumbersome when trying to customize but better than writing code. When viewing on phones.. basically just a slider.
Cons
TOO EXPENSIVE FOR SMALL DEVELOPERS "Upgrade" pricing is ridiculous for a single user. Yes there are "updates" within the version you buy but when new versions come out (Regularly) you have to pay the piper or you're toast. (See summary and you decide)
Summary
Started using this software way back when in the Flash 8 days. As they improved the software I kept upgrading as a LOYAL customer. Upgrade fees were usually from around $99 to no more than $149 and the changes for each upgrade were VERY dramatic. NOW...upgrades are $400 and the biggest change recently is that "it's now compatible with Iphone/Ipad 6." Hello? So what happens next year when IPhone 7 comes along? Another $400? As a loyal customer for years, I feel like I've been had and I have. Have had to turn down business until I find an affordable alternative. Beware...if you're just doing occasional work of this type because it won't be cost effective and especially when the client asks WHY it's not working on his new I PHONE or I PAD.

Last week pro version was half the price. Now it's $699 vs. $399. So I'm looking for alternatives to this solution.

- Affordable (price is high, but I know what I pay for) - High quality publications - Adjustable (I can set my images, my colors, my brand... Gosh! I can customize everything. That's my favorite Pro) - Perfect support (I know I can call them or write them and they'll answer any my question)

- Mac (sad but true - it's Windows only)

Among all the other solutions FlippingBook Publisher seems to be the best. It is simple and smart. You don't have to rack your brains about how to make a stunning publication, most of the options can be implemented just with one click. And I've heard some new skins are coming in next update - can't wait to see them. Great software for people who value their cleints and time.

Sometimes I think that this program is more intelligent than I am!)) It has everything that could be necessary for me.
Summary
I enjoy this program! I use my license for creating online corporate catalogs and digital photo albums. I cannot imagine Wedding album without this flipping effect, sounds and design! Publisher is the best software for me, my job and my family.
