Fleksy + GIF Keyboard for iOS

Fleksy + GIF Keyboard enables you to more fully express yourself over text messages.

Pros

Easy setup: Add Fleksy + GIF Keyboard under Keyboards in your Settings menu. Switch to Fleksy by pressing the globe button on your native keyboard. To enable sending GIFs, move Fleksy's slider bar to Allow Full Access. We found that the setup process took less than a minute.

Faster texting: Fleksy lets you use gestures for faster formatting: swipe left to delete, right to create space, right twice to add punctuation, down to change the suggested word, up twice to add or remove the word from Fleksy's dictionary, down with two fingers to minimize the layout (and up to restore it). You can also tap and hold the Enter button to access hundreds of emoji.

Thousands of GIFs: Search thousands of fun GIFs for your texts. Just slide the top bar to the GIF icon, scroll through the immediately available ones, or search for your own. Click the GIF to copy it, then click in the text box to paste.

Theme: Add a pop of color to your keyboard by choosing from eight themes. You can buy more exciting options like rainbow, time-lapse, and movie-themed packs.

Extensions: Fleksy automatically adds two extensions, and you can opt for three more or get all seven for a price. These include Hotkeys for adding a row of hotkeys to your keyboard, and One-Handed, which makes one-handed typing on iPhone 6s easier via swipes.

Size: Modify your keyboard size from Original to Small or Large.

Personalize: Click Personalize in the main menu to customize your writing style for Facebook, Gmail, or Twitter.

Multiple languages: Swipe left or right on the Spacebar to change the language you're typing in. You must already have other languages installed on your iOS account for this to work. Choose from 45 languages under Languages in the main menu.

Cons

Poor autocorrect: In our tests, Fleksy's autocorrect feature did not correctly guess the words we meant to type.

Too much access: When you grant Fleksy full access, its developers can access, collect, and transmit pretty much anything that you type, as well as your location, photos, and other personal data.

Bottom Line

Fleksy + GIF Keyboard offers plenty of customization and features missing from Apple's native Messages app.

After about a month since our relaunch, here are the updates we have for you.

- FIXED: You can now chose different colors for emojis (we fixed the minor bug which didn't allow you to change the colors)

- Brand new stickers from artists around the globe

- FIXED: You can now remove the default language English-US if you want to!
