  Don't waste your money or time on Fleetmate. I tried this software and wasted over an hour entering information for my trucking business. When I reopened the program only 1 vehicle out of the 6 entered was still there, the rest were simply gone! This software also crashes too easily, it locked up my computer repeatedly. If you need good fleet software I would highly recommend either Truck Tracker or Tatems Fleet Maintenance as much better choices. I especially liked Truck Tracker Pro, its stable, well designed and very useful. RTA Fleet Management Software is also a great product.

  I tried CarCare Fleet Edition and I was thouroughly disappointed with it. The program is very unstable and will spontaneously lose the data that you've spent hours entering into it. The Reports are inaccurate and crash my computer too. I run a trucking company and cannot afford software this unreliable. I also think its almost laughable that the Publisher of CarCare seems to always post replies to negative reviews insinuating that the bad review is always the result of a competitor ?? <p>Hey "CarCare team " ... take responsibility for your bad product and stop blaming everyone else! I also tried another program named TATEMS MAINTENANCE SOFTWARE and it was a huge improvement! Thanks to the other reviewer here that recommended it.

  Essentially CarCare "tries" to copy (unsuccessfully) many of the much better fleet maintenance programs out there. My guess is that the author lacks the intellect or creativity to design anything on their own. Overall I found the CarCare interface to be poorly designed and amateurish. I also twice suffered data losses in the 3 days that I was testing it (very bad). I would highly recommend skipping this software and trying out Tatems Fleet Maintenance or Collective Data Maintenance Management Software, or frankly almost anything else. Both of the other programs mentioned are vastly superior and very reliable programs.

• Cost-Effective Solution

  Excellent feature-set for the price, and very easy to use even for novice PC users. We have recommended it to a number of our clients and they have been pleased with the product. We've also contacted the makers of this software for advice and they have been quick to respond and very helpful.

• Exceptional Value

  We've used this product for about the past 6 months and felt compelled to write after upgrading to the latest version. We chose CARCare Fleet after evaluating 8 different fleet maintenance products ranging in price from $200 to $25000. We found CARCare Fleet the easiest to setup and use, and it's additional features like Inventory Tracking and it's Route log perfectly suited to our needs. We have 4 users that manage a mixed fleet of 182 vehicles and heavy equipment, entering usage, fuel, and PM information on a daily basis. We are quite impressed that the product has performed flawlessly and is very flexible in terms of the way we use it. We are now able to easily monitor our fleet expenses across 4 cost centers. The reminders also ensure that our trucks and equipment are maintained properly, something that was very time consuming before. We have also contacted the company several times for advice. They are quick to respond, knowledgable, pleasant to work with, and have always delivered the exact information we needed. We have been very pleased with our purchase and consider CARCare Fleet an exceptional value.

  I tried CarCare Fleet Edition and I had nothing but problems. The Reports were inaccurate and crashed my computer over and over. This software may be a little cheaper than some of the other programs but basically it's worthless software that is buggy and poorly designed. I agree with the other reviewer on here that the Dossier Fleet Maintenance Management Software is much better and ALOT more stable. Don't waste your time or money on this one.

• Big Mistake!

  I purchased CarCare Fleet Edition to manage my truck fleet. After spending hours inputting data and financial information <p>the program crashed and I lost all of my data. I contacted support and all I got was excuses. Basically this was a total <p>loss of my time and money. My refund request was ignored so now I guess I will have to try and refuse the charges on my <p>credit card. Now I use Dossier Fleet Maintenance Management Software and I could not be happier. <p>If you have a fleet to manage use the Dossier software and skip CarCare....you won't regret it!
