Flava - Note/Journal for iOS

Flava is a unique journaling app for iOS devices. It's a great way to keep track of all kinds of things -- events, ideas, photos, songs, places you've visited, and much more, and its intuitive interface makes it a joy to use.

In a world where posting the minutiae of your daily life on social networking sites has become de rigueur, we found it refreshing that Flava is meant just for you. The app actually does allow you to share your posts to Twitter, Facebook, Renren, and Weibo, or via email or text, but by default posts are private. The app has an attractive interface that's easy to navigate, and within a few minutes we were creating a new post. We loved it that Flava lets you include images, video, voice memos, and music with your posts, and you can organize them using various tags. The app also keeps track of the location you post from and makes it easy to search pervious posts. The timeline view in which posts are displayed is attractive and easy to navigate, giving you a quick overview of your recent entries.

We can imagine Flava having numerous uses, from a creative journal to a fitness log to a recipe box to a medical record and much, much more. If you've ever enjoyed journaling or could just use a way to create multimedia records of your goings-on, Flava is definitely worth a try.
