Flappy Bee for iOS

Flappy Bee lets you take control of a cartoon bee, and guide it through the air and around obstacles, all the while collecting honey and moons. You control the bee by tapping the screen, and as you become more skilled at flying, you'll begin collecting achievements and working your way through the different levels of gameplay.

This game has a very straightforward interface with few options other than to start playing. When you begin, your bee will be suspended in the air and begin moving horizontally across the screen. If you do nothing, your bee will fall off the bottom of the screen, and the game will be over, so you have to tap just enough to keep the bee in the air. If you tap too hard or too often, the bee will fly off the top of the screen and be gone, as well. Additionally, there are obstacles like flowers coming from both the top and bottom of the screen. If you run into any of these, you'll have to start again, as well. When you begin your turn, the screen will display the achievement you're currently attempting across the bottom. Some examples include collecting more than ten pots of honey or reaching 300 taps. In the upper left-hand corner of your screen while you're playing, you'll see stats for how many pots of honey, taps, plants, and moons you've collected or accrued so far. You'll also get a total when your turn is over.

The layout of the screen you're working through is the same through the first five levels, but it changes every turn after that, which further increases the difficulty of navigating. This game is definitely addictive and fun to play. One drawback is the pop-up ads that occasionally appear. Since this is a game where you spend most of your time tapping the screen, you're almost guaranteed to hit an ad by accident at some point, but they seem to come in batches and then not again for a long time.
