Your portable personal fitness trainer. A set of easily understandable exercises with video examples specially designed for users of leg prostheses. Whether you already have your prosthesis or are soon to get one, the exercises in this app provide the training you need. What's more, with this app installed on your device, you can take your trainer with you anywhere, and integrate the exercises into your everyday fitness or therapeutic routine.The 16 exercises in this app have been developed by an expert Ottobock physiotherapist specialised in working with amputees. They are thus equally suitable as part of a regular fitness programme and during rehabilitation following amputation. The exercises require no or very simple workout equipment and the instructions are easy to follow. More importantly, each exercise is also clearly demonstrated by a video made to perfectly fit your iPhone screen.Two sets of 8 exercises cover Strength & Endurance and Coordination & Balance, the idea being to regularly alternate between the two for maximum benefit. The Strength & Endurance exercises are designed in particular to strengthen your upper body muscles and so stabilise your spine, forming the basis for a normal gait.
