FireMapper is designed for firefighters for quickly generating wildfire and other incident maps. The applications provides a simple interface for drawing maps and exporting via Email. Maps are stored on the local device and can be created or used offline. No internet connection is required for collected data. ADD & RECORD POINTS. FireMapper supports the standard mapping symbology used by the National Wildfire Coordinating Group (NWCG). With FireMapper you can add over 20 different fire related point types. Aerial Hazard. Aerial Ignition. Branch/Division Breaks. Fire Origin. Hotspots. Staging Area. Base Camp. Water Sources. Safety Zones. Lookouts. Helibases. and more. DRAW & RECORD LINES. FireMapper supports the standard mapping symbology used by the National Wildfire Coordinating Group (NWCG). With FireMapper you can draw over 20 different fire related line types. Active Burnout Lines. Aerial Hazard Lines. Aerial Ignition Lines. Burnout Lines. Dozer Lines. Escape Route Lines. Fire Break Lines. Fire Spread Prediction Lines. Foam/Water Drop Lines.
