  The software is fully functional when downloaded directly from this vendor's Web site: fineartstoolbox.com

  Cons

  It is the fault of download.com (cnet) that the file has the wrong extension. The developer had notified download.com several times of the problem, but download.com has not responded and did not correct the problem. Additionally, it takes almost two months for download.com to update its files, so go directly to the vendor's Web site to get the latest software.

  I was given a text file to download, its completely useless for what it advertises, the distributer should know that there(hopefully)has been a mistake.

  Cons

  After two and three successive attempts, I have been unable to successfully install this to even try it. Forget this! If software designers REALLY want people to preview their software before deciding on a purchase, they need to make it installable - - like PSP used to do. This sounded like such a nice augment to my graphics ventures, but I won't buy it to try it and I don't recommend this waste of time - - so-called "free trial.".

  Pros

  Easy to mix photo-clips with graphics and text. Has many built-in options for page setup. The hints in the side menu are quite helpful.
