  Comparing with other splitters this one is great. But some advices: 1. do not put spaces or special characters in the file to split, because if so, the batch file will not start (not accepted by DOS). 2. If you did it, or you restart the splitting, or you modify the batch file by erasing the spaces or special signs. 3. Do not check the option: "Kill splitfiles after merging". Like this you will have the possibility to restart splitting if something goes wrong. Well, even if the germans are not so good commercial, they are very good creators.

  It works... But there is a challenge here. The created batch file to join the parts together started in the wrong directory, deleted the wrong files (oooops!) and closed itself before I could read the error message. Also, it might need some quotes (") around the file names, in case the file names contain spaces. And it would be nice if I could fill in any size I want: not 10 MB or 20 MB, but 12 MB, for instance. And the user interface could be a little more helpful. I don't mean the language, I mean "click here to select the file that you want to split" instead of "start".

  Sure you can switch to english words and menus, but not everything is totally changed to english (like parts of the help file). The readme file and installers are all German and you can get through it. I just was not comfortable using it.

  sure it is in German, but by using the menubar Tools and Options you can select between german and english!
