This ia a Filemaker database that converts your database records/Tab Delimited file to one vCard that can be imported or dragged and dropped onto Mac OS X Address Book. Simply import your file or existing records into the corresponding fields in the vCard Creator database and hit export to create ONE vCard file for ALL records. This was created to load up my Address book with all my Clients and Suppliers from my Filemaker database. I did this so I could use iSync to get the data over Bluetooth to my Mobile Phone. Its a quick and easy solution that you can use time and time again if you need to update your addressbook. There is another vCard creator out there (Address Book vCard Creator) which only does one record at a time - thats why I wrote my version. Finally added in the long awaited extra customisable Fields as well as Categories and Keywords which will allow you to identify records properly in the addressbook. Also will show as a Company in Addressbook now if Company field is filled in. As an extra I have included an editable Importer utililty that allows you to store your import order for as many different databases as you like so you dont have to keep setting it up everytime.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
It works like a charm. The tech support was excellent, and it saved my life. I had to send email to 500 people. The list was sent to me in Excel. It would not import into Address Book. I saved as .txt, I saved as .cvs. Nothing but error messages. I imported to Filemaker, exported the VCard, and was able to send the emails within minutes.
I highly recommend this. It is well worth $10.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
This little FileMaker tool worked like a charm. There were some issues that I wasn't aware of when importing records to Address Book and vCard Creator took care of them without my having to "massage" my data. The registration password was sent to me within an hour of paying the small price, and when I had a question they responded within minutes via email. And the best thing of all was that I could retain my categories from my FileMaker database by mapping my category and keyword fields to the same fields in vCard Creator. So creating and sorting my data into groups in Address Book took about 2 minutes after the import, which is really helpful since I have over 6300 records and have put them into the iPhone. So the entire process took about 5 minutes to get my records out of my database and into groups in Address Book.
Brilliant! Just what I needed!

Then 2 minutes to get them into my iPod.
The cost... $10.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I have been using many different PDA's, phones, and PIM software and because of all the transfers and conversions, I ended up putting everything into a home made Filemaker Pro DB until I got "settled." Once I found a PDA that I liked, I found that it could take vCards for all it's contact info. Having many contacts in my database, I very simply imported them into vCard Creator and even more simply exported them out as vCards and put them in my PDA - it was so easy, no problems whatsoever and I had no data loss. For a very small shareware fee, my digital life was made much easier. Now I can use my FileMaker Pro database on my laptop for all the things that I did before and quickly transfer updated data to my PDA.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
Wow, what a great piece of shareware. I've tried several other programs to convert my Contacts database to a vCard for import to Address Book, but every one of them failed. Then I tried Filemaker vCard Creator. It worked perfectly. It worked the first time, it was fast, it was easy to use, and it imported 6000 contacts without a single error I can find. And it was inexpensive to boot. I'm impressed.
