Monitor and control changes on a filesystem.

File System Watcher can monitor and report changes on a filesystem. Files that are created, deleted or changed based upon some rules are reported to a list. This list can be exported as a CSV (Comma Separated Values) file to be read by Excel. It features works on network drives, list can be displayed in "follow" mode (always shows the bottom elements) or in free positioning, and colored rows: errors and deletions are red, renamed files are blue.

Actually a nifty little watch util!

Pros
This lightweight, standalone (portable) app gives you a simple window that, in my testing, very effectively reports all file system activity in whatever directory (including subdirectories) you set it to watch. Great for as-needed directory monitoring when, for example, running a program installation or a script.
Cons
Limited. It can be set to watch only one directory at a time! You can watch more than one directory by running multiple instances of the app, but who wants to do that? Also, it doesn't save the directory it's set to watch after the app is closed.
Summary
Serves its simple, as-needed purpose very well. A handy little app. Limited but well done for what it does.
