Auto fetch iTunes album art without an account and from any country.
Fetch Art for iTunes is a small program that will fetch album art for one or more songs using Amazon's XML interface, allow you to preview the art that was found, and add the art you want to iTunes. The program is controlled through the iTunes Script menu: once it is installed, album art can be downloaded by selecting one or more songs in iTunes and choosing "Fetch Art" from the Script menu. It doesn't require an account to get art and works from any country.
Quick and easy. Offers web search for any images not found in images (most of my old CDs I used as trials needed the web search).
Cons
Some of the cover art is low resolution....
Summary
A time saver.
NOT THAT GREAT
Jablinski55
Pros
I managed to get one or 2 covers
Cons
I got one or 2 covers then had problems, so it put me off buying the full version. Worried about downloading things that create problems with my macbook.
Summary
Maybe I'll wait till there's a safe software. Would rather pay and get good quality
Nice and fast.
lusciousmango
Pros
Easy to install and use
Cons
Would have liked the ability to select different artwork for different tracks on a multiple search -- as it was, I had to limit my searches to one artist/album at a time.
Summary
Fast to use, and required me to take action on each cover (so I didn't blanket-change everything, ending up with mistakes). This anal-retentive gives it two thumbs up!
I don't recommend it.
Onera77
Pros
it has shortcut that is embedded in the itune menu bar ,hence making it easy to fetch art without seeking the application.
Cons
almost always gets the wrong art for the album....at least 80%in my case.
Summary
i didn't like it b/c it actually never gave me the right art and it never gives u choices unlike other applications such as TUNEUP...so i honestly don't recommend it at all.
Works well if art is available, which it is not always.

Pros
Free, of course. Worked well to obtain art to print on a home made CD. Nice to have this very acceptable addition to iTune's Cover Flow view.
Cons
If downloading for more than one track or artist it seems necessary to quit "Fetch Art" and restart the application afresh each time.

It's cool for free

It's good, free, and I don't need itunes account.
New version 2.5 coming soon
Aric F
Pros
Free and easy to use. Automatically does batch downloads of entire playlists of album art. Automatically skips songs that already have album art. The author supports the app on a dedicated Fetch Art blog. Doesn't require a store account to get art.
Cons
Relies on information entered about each song in iTunes. If album names are spelled wrong, or Amazon has the wrong album art, it will grab inaccurate art.
Summary
I really didn't want to write a review, but add a comment: On August 15 Amazon will change how their web servers search for album art. They are requiring encrypting/signing of requests. I am working on a new version 2.5 of Fetch Art to support these new calls. After August 15 all previous versions of Fetch Art will stop working. Check back here for an update on August 15. It will be compatible with iTunes 7 and 8 and Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.5 and Intel and PowerPC Macs.
Finds some of the covers that itunes misses.

Pros
Works well within itunes.
Cons
Doesn't get all the cover art and sometimes its the wrong one(ditto for itunes)
Summary
Can't beat the price for software that can only help.
