• Gets the job done.

  Pros

  I agree with what the first two reviews said. This program will let you role as many dice at the same time as you like (up to 1,000,) and gives you both individual rolls and a separate cumulative total. The types of dice you have are: 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 20, 100, and percentage dice. This is a very small program that seems to work fine with XP and does not take up hardly any system resources. If you use PDF, Doc, and picture files on your computer while playing, this program will not interfere with them at all.

  Cons

  There is no uninstalled, just and exe file. But, the program is even smaller because of the lack of uninstall, so that might be a plus. The download is just simply the exe file, so there is really nothing to uninstall anyway. There are no help files either, not that you really need them. My machine gives me an error when I click on the About button, so I had to Google for the designer's homepage to see other products. But, I think these three complaints do not really signify any reason not to download the product. It checked out fine on Norton's and Lavasoft Ad-Aware, and I updated both before checking DiceRoller.exe.

  Pros

  This product delivers the goods. It is easy to use and works well. It is free, making it a cheap alternative to regular dice. The simple interface is austere and unobtrusive. Has all main types of dice, and you can make up to 1000 rolls at once. It does the calculation for you, making tallying the dice much quicker. I prefer traditional dice of course, but this program is perfect for it's purpose.

  Cons

  It might be nice if you could roll multiple types of dice at once, but that might compromise the simplicity that makes this product so pleasant to use.
