I still need to choose source each and every time, and type name for every file. ever heard of autonaming? too bad... would have been very good...
Summary
Doesn't support duplex scanning on Brother MFC printer

Pros
Scanned document to network drive. Found both network printers without a problem.
Cons
However, I selected duplex scanning due to the document having content on both sides of the page. Received an error that duplex scanning is not supported on my printers. Looking for alternative to PaperPort which does provide duplex scanning on both printers, however it no longer works on network drives. So I was excited that this said it supported duplex scanning, but apparently only on limited printers.

Summary
I set out to find software that I can scan documents easily. Waiting on Adobe Acrobat to startup, having to click tons of buttons and having it freeze up occasionally was a nightmare. I've tried a few others which were pretty good, but Fast Scan was my top pick and a breath of fresh air. It scans quickly & reliably, and remembers all my settings. If I want to change a setting it is right there, and I don't have to call a search party to change a simple setting. Great piece of software!<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on May 1, 2010<p/>One more thing, I love the duplex combined with the auto page rejection. It scans boths sides, then delete the blank pages. Also, my scanner has both an ADF and flatbed, and the software will try to scan off the ADF first, but if there is no pages in the ADF, it asks me if I want to scan off the flatbed. NICE!
