Fairy Farm is a farm/city building app that tasks you with creating a magic-wielding character and developing a farm on which you will grow trees, fruits, and other goods using your magic powers. A lot about this app is very familiar -- from the time-based growing patterns to the in-app purchase system that allows you to speed things up -- but the theme, layout, and delivery are all very good.

The startup for Fairy Farm is very familiar to other apps in this genre. Style-wise, it looks a lot like other cartoon-style games in this niche, complete with large heads and small bodies. The developers do a good job of keeping the interface from being too cluttered. Too often these interfaces are overloaded with buttons and options, to the point of paralyzing the user from actually getting anything done. Fairy Farm looks quite good and is fun to use most of the time. The majority of tasks you complete will involve watering trees, picking fruit, and collecting stars or coins, but there are other quirks here, as well, including a fun character interface.

Ultimately, Fairy Farm is no different than other farming style and city building games on the App Store; but for those that enjoy the genre, and are interested in adding a dose of magic to the mix, this is a fun iteration.
