  I recently converted to EzStamp from another stamp management software, and I am extremely pleased. Some outstanding benefits of EzStamp include coverage, support, ease of use, and integration with valuable supplemental options. The collection that I inherited has more than 40,000 stamps from dozens of countries, but my early software had no data for nearly 10% of those. I spent many hours adding data and gave up on entering stamps from two substantial countries. EzStamp covers 99.9% of the collection. Support from the company has been stellar. They helped me convert the bulk of the collection from the previous program, and every question has prompted a quick and helpful response. Entering data is fast and easy. If a person has a large and diverse collection, I would recommend that they make EzStamp their first choice.

  The options are nearly unlimited and there's absolutely everything that stamp collector might want to record about their stamps. The userface is incredibly intuitive and every feature makes the program more enjoyable.

  Pros

  When you have 30 years of kiloware and auction material stuff into boxes all over the place you need something to bring some order to the chaos. I accumulated a lot of material without even knowing what I had.This software fills all my stamp collecting requirement and then some. In fact I doubt that I will ever even come close to using it to it's full potential but I intend to try. The add-on Stamp Recognition Software is also well worth the extra purchase. It took a bit of toying with the scanner but once I got it set I couldn't believe how fast I could locate the right stamp. I also got EZPerf and that saved me hours of work because I can't read the lines on the perf guides anymore. It's another worthwhile add-on. If you're a professional dealer or amateur collector you need this software and all the add-ons that go with it. You can't do business without it and you won't regret it.

  Cons

  I must say it's a bit daunting at first. Some things weren't obvious until I played with it. it. However the support is more than you can ask for. Emails are answered fast. It will take time to run this full out so your going to have to watch the videos and browse the manuals. Prepare for a steep learning curve.

• Really Great Customer Support

  Pros

  I had a strange problem with EzStamp at launch. I sent an email from the "Contact Us" link on the EzStamp website, and within 10 minutes Marios called me and fixed the problem. Then he explained how I could do something in a simpler manner.

  Cons

  Even with a moderately sized collection that was not cataloged in any software package, it does take a while to move to EzStamp. But the results are certainly worth it.

  Simple to use and install Crystal clear and sharp images Very large database of stamps included Most reports are included. You can create your own pretty easily. Stamp Recognition Software works as described. Cannot tell color shades, but that is expected. Instant support. Never seen anything like it. There people are on top of questions in a flash.

  Cons

  Wish they could include Gibbons numbers, but I was told it is a copyright issue. Too bad.

  Summary

  Incredible value for the money. Best stamp investment I have made in years. I bought the British Commonwealth edition along with the recognition software and have been using it for several months now. No glitches at all. The recognition software misses every now and then, but that is likely due to me scanning in my heavily cancelled stamps. It does pick up some color shades, but not all. The inventory portion (Ezstamps) is flawless. I recommend these products to anyone wishing to get a handle on their stamp collection. Best stamp inventory program out there by a long shot. I tried two other programs and Ezstamps fit my needs perfectly. This is a must have program for stamp collectors.

  365 page user manual. YouTube videos omit the exact menu paths. There is no context sensitive help, only menu by menu help. The workflow of scanning bathes of stamps, identifying, grading, and perf'ing batches is quite lengthy and does not yield 100% matches. The recognition program does not discern subtle differences in color, which can indicate a valuable stamp. The perforation product does not yield a 100% match either, which can also indicate a valuable stamp. So, the suite of programs is probably very good if you want a general classification and do not care about finding valuable stamps.

  Summary

  Steep learning curve. Accuracy in matching a stamp to its database is disappointing for valuable stamps.

• Great customer support

  Pros

  After repairs to my PC, ezstamp stopped working. Turns out it was a windows system file corruption - nothing to do with ezstamp's software. Marios remoted in and fixed the problem anyway within 10 minutes. When you buy this software you get the best support I've seen.

  Cons

  With a database this big there are bound to be a few images not available. I've not found this to be a problem

  Pros

  Incredibly complete program with fantastic images and data so you do not have to enter everything your self. Will save me hundreds of hours of work. Every stamp has a picture and a price, usually for different grades. I collect irish and portugese stamps and portuguese colonies. I started with the irish version, but will likely get the worldwide version soon. Support is beyond belief. Very fast and they know their stuff. Several questions were answered almost immediately. I now have a program I can use & trust. Reporting is soooo simple. Entering my collection is so very fast. I have entered over 1800 stamps in about 2 hours & did not have to enter any additional data - just the scott number & my grade. I bulk loaded all my moderns issues in seconds. Yeah !

  Cons

  none that I can find really. Wish the world edition was downloadable, but I was told it is 15 gigabits in size, so would take too long.

  Summary

  It's the best stamp program out there. Much better than the competitors offerings. I received another program as a gift & it was not to my liking. Way too much work. If you need a software to catalog your stamp collection, this is the one to get. I am extremely pleased with this purchase and i would recommend this to all. ezstamps belongs on every collectors must have list. ... Simon

  Pros

  User friendly. Extremely detailed. Probably many more features than I'll ever use, but at least they are there if needed. Works flawlessly with Album Gen. Very flexible, especially given the ability to make copies of databases to separate different stamp formats; i.e. Plate Blocks, Coil Pairs, etc.. I could go on and on. Must mention the OUTSTANDING customer support/service. A winning app with great support is a very rare combination in the software industry. Being an IT guy, I know.

  Cons

  Not really a con, but for some, especially beginners, it may require a time investment to learn all of the extensive features. Like anything, you get out what you put in though. Believe me it will be worth it.

  Summary

  I really can't say anything other than kudos to Marios for his terrific applications. I am looking at adding the rest of his stamp collecting suite. I already use AlbumGen, which is the best and easiest album page creator I have ever used. You won't be disappointed.

• Best software for stamps

  Pros

  Has most countries and uses Scott # to identify. Wonderful pictures and you can add your own too. You can add in things like plate blocks, FDC, Mint Sheets. If you buy sell you can put in your purchase price and sold price. This has unlimited possibilities for collectors. There are videos online that show you how to do everything on here. Marios goes slow and explains in an easy way how to use the program. If you don't know how to do something and can't figure it out, just email him and he replies very quickly.

  Cons

  People may think the cost is an issue, but because this can link into other programs, like Album Generator, Stamp Recognition Software, and others it makes it a great deal. Stamp albums are so expensive, and with this you will be able to make custom pages and this will save so much money in the long run.
