  Summary

  The "ezImage..." program clearly says on its one and only window that you must drag-and-drop image files to be converted, but, even then, it was a little tricky to figure out; I'm not sure that even average computer users would figure it out (FWIW, I'm a computer programmer with over 30 years of experience, including a sideline business of installing/repairing home & business computers, and even *I* had trouble at first!). However, once I got passed that hurdle, the rest was relatively easy. I converted twenty-one 160 x 80 pixel BMPs to GIFs. I was impressed with its very fast processing speed (it completed before I had a chance to blink!), and the results were as clear as the originals. The program did exactly what I wanted it to do, though I would have preferred a standard select folder/file interface (maybe they didn't want to bother with the, presumably, more sophisticated programming and menus). Also, the output folder cannot be changed (i.e., it goes to the program's directory), which, again, may not be clear to the average user, but, it has an "open output folder" button, which made cut-and-paste into my desired subdirectory almost as easy. Even given the unusual drag-and-drop feature vs. typical selection menu, and the unchangeable output folder, I think most people will appreciate this simple, small, fast, accurate program, as I do.
