User Reviews

• Cuts, alright, but not what you want.

  Pros

Windows and slider controls for both video section start and end positions. Excellent output video quality.

  Cons

Limited user control, no menu bar. No help. Finest positioning resolution is 1 sec. Unable to set name of output file. Slow processing. Resultant file was cut a positions different than set. This is HORRIBLE.

  Summary

You could forgive or at least tolerate everything else, but cut positioning problems make this software of little value. The videos I need to cut typically have 20 frames/sec; lots can happen in a second. Thus, positioning at a minimum of a whole second is entirely inadequate. But even worse than that, the resultant file does not start or end at the positions set and displayed on the slider bars and in the editing windows. This software just isn't useable. Even if it were free it wouldn't help that. At $25 it is pickpocketing.
