Be Careful Dealing with This Hobby Company

None. Rude and angry one single guy works there and he yells at and insults people for calling to ask about buying the product!
Cons
There's one guy working here who must be grieving some terrible loss, a divorce, illness, bankruptcy, something big, because he's angry and he yells at you for calling to ask questions about what the product does.
Summary
I called perhaps five times and every time you call this company the call goes into voicemail on the first ring and it claims that "everyone" in the company is busy and can't take your call. Then the message you leave is turned into an e-mail and it gets sent to the one guy who apparently works for the company (but probably from the Bahamas or something). I was called back a couple of days after I called them by this one guy who works there. I asked questions about importing existing PDF forms and if it was possible to import PDF form fields since they are XML, which is a common ODBC/data communications format. I explained that I had a lot of PDF forms with a lot of field names and that it would be easier to import the fields and field names with the forms. This one guy who works for the company told me no, that I'd need to create and name new fields. He also told me I was an idiot for wanting to do such a thing apparently because not many people use the Adobe PDF format for forms. He ended up hanging up on me probably because I asked to speak to someone else and he is likely the only person working there. In short, I have no idea if this software works or not, but I intended to use their more robust EZ Forms Ultra for business and you can't very well use this software for business if there's one surly guy working there who may hang up on you or call you names if you have questions about the software. It also raises support issues, obviously. Good companies don't demean customers for explaining how they intend to use the product and asking if it is possible to use it in such a way. Good companies listen to their customers and incorporate features and functions customers request into their software, or at least help customers work around missing features. Finally, it seems to me that this product may be well suited to customers seeking to unify PDF forms generation with a back end database and there are millions of people using a library of PDF forms without a back end database. If you want to find out a good way to use this product to do that, you will have to leave a voicemail at the pretend office of the company and then wait for the surly man who gets it converted to text on his phone to call you back. You'd better hope that he's having a good morning as he's the only person to deal with there.

I represent a respected educational and training institution. I called the EZ Forms Company in Houston, TX to find out if their software application(s) might be applicable for our student needs. I was looking for a software that would allow me to create interactive/fillable PDFs which, in turn, could be emailed to our student body allowing them to fill in the requested information and return it via e-mail. Before I could even get into a conversation, I was called a "moron" for my inquiry and then was hung up on. I consider myself a civil human being who attempts to be polite and considerate of others. I am knowledgeable and proficient in various software applications. I would strongly advise avoiding any business relationship with this company. You may find yourself asking for product support and/or information... and being called a "moron" for doing so. I have never quite encountered such blatant rudeness and hostility. There is something definitely unstable in that company's management.

I just called to make a simple inquiry about their product and was told i was a jerk and some other choice words, that I am sure CNET doesn't want me to write. <p> <p>I am flabbergasted. The guy on the phone told me i made no sense and was a blank blank. (you can fill in the blanks) <p> <p>I think I know what I am talking about and I was told that what I was looking for does exist and I just spoke to another company who offers the same product as this guy and he was very nice and very helpful.
