  NCH will add programs to your context menu that will not go away until you install and uninstall the programs--which all contain spyware--that NCH added.

  handles all extensions, including .iso fast

  a little pricey? not really.

  Summary

  does most things Winzip does (including emailing files as an option once you zip an archive). i was a longtime user of Winzip, but got frustrated with constantly having to re-buy it. this is a great substitute.

  Nothing much. Does basic zip functions

  Sets of my antivirus alert immediately (hmm cnet what are you up to), program wants you to verify you are not using it for commercial purposes every time you perform an action (seriously??) and is ungodly slow and has no preview functionality. USE WINRAR!!!

  Summary

  Use WinRAR it is far superior and free and has no annoying "buy the pro verion" b.s.

  Pros

  It's a pretty standard zip program, but I found it very easy to use. Unlike some other programs I am given the option to directly unzip or zip, zip a file directly into an email, and a number of other choices. Overall a good choice for a zip program.

  Cons

  The only criticism I would have is that the interface seems dated.

  Might be a great program minus the nagging.

  Nags at you constantly. At every use it nags at you not to use it commercially, demands you certify you're not doing so. Every time you shut it down it nags at you to give it a review. Nag, nag, nag!!!

  I get too much nagging IL, won't take it from software.

  I can select 200 files to unzip at once

  I have to click on separate confirmation pop-up for each file, confirming that I'm using free version for home/personal use -- as if my answer will change from file 101 to 102

  Wouldn't recommend to others for unzipping multiple files at once
