  Pros

  I needed a way to install files to a community project. The default method has been to drag folders into the install folder. I needed an installer for those who just like to click, and that's it. The results I get from using this easy to use installer is very professional looking and works perfectly. My personal thanks to the team!

  Pros

  Free and much easier to use than Install Shield.<p>I had forced at my last company to use Install Shield for a very simple application and it took weeks to tweak and produce simple .msi and .exe installers.<p>Excelsior Installer did it in seconds. Install Shield had huge overhead and misbehaved on many platforms. Excelsior Installer had no overhead and worked everywhere.

  Cons

  I wish simple first-run and pre-uninstall hooks features via both command file options of installing/installed application and/or Dll entry points. That's all I miss.

  Dude I know what your thinking free program that makes installer packages great! IT doesn't do anything if you like creating tons of new projects thats great but thats the only thing it does. It doesn't do anything don't even bother
